Since the eSATA is effectively SATA on the Gigabyte board thanks to its adapter PCI bracket, both perform the same at an equally fast 82MB/s on the Western Digital Raptor 150GB. We also tested the JMicron/Gigabyte SATA2 ports in purple and found that also scores a uniform 82MB/s.
